Virtual Training
Virtual dog training (also known as remote or online training) involves connecting with a certified professional dog trainer via video conferencing platforms (like Zoom or Google Meet). Instead of meeting in person, the trainer guides you, the owner, on how to train your dog in your own home or environment.
This method is highly focused on owner education, empowering you to become your dog's primary trainer.
- Format: Live, one-on-one sessions where the trainer observes your dog's behavior in its natural setting and provides immediate, real-time coaching, demonstrations, and feedback on your technique.
- Ideal For: Basic obedience, puppy training, addressing common household behaviors (e.g., jumping, barking, counter-surfing), and working with anxious or reactive dogs who may be stressed in a traditional training facility.
- Key Advantage: Your dog learns skills and behaviors in the exact environment where they need to be successful (e.g., not barking when the mailman comes to your specific door).
Virtual dog training is often significantly more cost-effective than comparable in-person or private, in-home training sessions.
